I spent $37...........

....and saved $126.27

So, I decided to take advantage of a few deals at Albertsons today.......... We don't typically eat Glucerna cereal, but it was free & it actually looks pretty good! I don't usually use PertPlus either, but those were also free, so they will be great for storage and I'll toss one in my trailer for camping for this summer. Seriously, the M&Ms cost the most because I didn't have the manufacturer's coupon, just the in store one $1.88 (but they would've been $1.38 w/the coupon). Still not a bad price.


I decided to go back a second time and get a few more deals, just in case they ran out for the week. This time I spent $24 & saved $50.65. Again, those darn M&Ms........ but I only paid $3.60 total for all those Wheat Thins. When you buy 4 blocks of those cheeses you get them for $7 and then a $3 coupon prints off......so you really get them $1 each, not a bad deal!

You may be asking: What is she going to do with all that cheese??? Well, most of it doesn't expire until June/July, so some of it will keep. The rest I'll shred & freeze in bags to cook with later. With camping coming up, there are lots of dutch oven recipes that call for a cup or 2 of shredded cheese, plus most casseroles are tasty w/cheese on top . I don't worry about it getting used up.

I should not be buying candy!!! I've been doing pretty good with the candy from the last sale- those huge candy bar bags have remained un-touched in my freezer. The M&Ms will go downstairs on my storage room shelves. They should be pretty safe there. If not, my V Teaching sisters will be finding them on their doorsteps!
