Just a quick post to let you know we're all still alive. We've had a fun and busy summer so far as I know many of you have also. I just want to document that (in my book) there has been more rain this spring than ever in the history of all the Earth (and it has been a really really long spring.......even LONGER if you have children)!
A few highlights for our family have been:
First and foremost- look at my beautiful flowers! I came home from a really really fun playgroup day with exhausted kids to find Trevor home early and these on my counter. I love all the summer colors and you can't see them now, but there are lilies hiding in there that will bloom in next day or two & smell wonderful (he knows I love lilies). Thanks Trevor for being so sweet and thinking of me. Trevor is the King of 'just because' flowers. I'm ALWAYS surprised when they turn up!

Camping in Salmon for Memorial Day
Super weather all weekend long! I'm a strong believer in the "kids just love camping and it's good for them" idea. Our kids just soak up every second of being outside with the dirt, rocks, sticks & other various things found in nature. The creativity in finding fun things to do (which never ends) is fun to watch. I love it too! A great weekend!
Tannon took Carter everywhere in the wagon
Pb&j lunch break, love this chair
Here's a super freaky bizarre hailstorm that just totally hit Idaho Falls, the day AFTER we broke temps of 85 degrees! It just came down & down & down! Then it was gone...........totally Idaho weather.
Camping with Friends @ Big Elk Creek (no pics!!)
This was a new spot for us and a fabulous one at that. We had a great time watching the kids play and hanging out in a not- so-hot hotspring.........and boy did we eat good (which is totally camping code for "eating really badly"). Thanks everyone for a great trip, we look forward to more!
To Bone & Back Race
My good friend Alana and her hubby put a super fun team together and we all had a blast running that day. We were the "Bleeding Cowboys" (named for her brother in law's tattoo shop), not exactly my thing, but the shirts were awesome and our bandannas totally scared off the other runners! We got there @ 6:30 AM and we all left around 1:30, BBQ that night with the runners & their families. A great great way to spend a Saturday!! Thanks Curt & Alana, for putting it all together for us. It really was a fun fun day!!

The super hot Mamas flexing their muscles

Me (in the middle)- totally dying on the last bit of my run- so glad I had some running support @ the end! There are some serious hills in Bone!

I am going to try to be a better blogger, we really do have fun with our little family, friends and extended family members. I love being here in Idaho Falls and I'm sooo looking forward to a summer full of fun!
Can't wait to see what you all are doing too!
